Feng Shui: Capture Summer Fun

If you have children your summers might follow an interesting pattern. It starts very slow and relaxed to move into a strange mid-August tempo of speeding up (all that back-to-school shopping!) combined with a burning desire to slow down and savour every left summer day. Personally for me, summers always tend to go too fast!

With just a few weeks of summer left and its yang energy of fun, bright sunshine and careless laughter slowly fading away - are you ready to let the summer go?

As with every beautiful experience, it is good to record the memories - be it on paper, camera, or with small tokens of your own summer magic. Write down today some of the most beautiful experiences of this summer and find a way to bring them/represent them in your space.

Catch the summer fun in a seashell and bring it home to make you happy, or capture the beautiful light at the sunset and display the photo in your home office. These will be very powerful feng shui symbols, as they will be speaking straight to your heart.

Children are really good at this - just watch as they unload the content of their pockets after a fun summer trip! ::

Feng Shui for a Lucky Home

Feng Shui wisdom offers an interesting view on luck, which, according to ancient masters, consist of three parts, called Tien (Heaven), Ti (Earth) and Ren (Mankind). Feng Shui cannot help you with changing the date and time of your birth, the family of birth, etc (Heaven Luck); but it certainly can help you attract the best energy to improve the other two components - Earth Luck (energy around you) and Mankind Luck (people you meet.)

We know that everything around us is energy and we are in a constant exchange with it. It makes sense, then, to check your house and improve its energy to attract better luck into your life.

What would be the basic feng shui signs of a good luck home? Of course there is much more, but you have to start with the basics, there is just no way around it.::
