Like a true love relationship, the relationship with your home takes time, care and consideration. A lot of listening and giving, too. The two main factors that describe an alive, good feng shui home, are the freshness and the healing factors.
Although this is the season to bring warmth into your home, try not to overdo with fire colors , or you might end up with burnt down symptoms when you least need it - at the beginning of the new year! Check the holiday season guidelines we covered in the past issues, and do focus on the two main elements of an alive, "perfect feng shui" home: the freshness of the energy and the healing power of a true home.
Fresh means clean, free flow and harmonious. In feng shui terms, it also means the use of the right colors, elements and shapes, as well as, first of all, the experience of the energy of renewal and joy when you see your home, or at least some parts of your home (please note: you must have a serene, good bedroom for a good feng shui home)
Healing means no matter what is happening in your life, you come home to love and reassurance that all is well in your life. You may or may not have loving people to share your life with right now, but you always have your home that is waiting to become a true friend to you!
Help is always near. An investment in a feng shui analysis goes a very long way in securing a healthy, happy home, thus a successful life for those who live in it. No matter where you live, pick up the phone or do some on-line research and find a good feng shui consultant in your area to help you. Just like your physical body needs visits to doctors and healers, the same applies to your larger body - your home: It might desperately needs some energy work to feel good again. Beauty feng shui
Where in your life do you find beauty and how do you allow yourself to be nourished by it? Feng shui is all about bringing the beauty, the strength and the healing of mother earth (Chi energy) inside the structures we have created for ourselves, either we call them home or business environments.
Without beauty, our souls starve and our emotional health deteriorates.
Today, go for a long walk out in nature and find the beauty where you least expect it. Even in this season of slowing down and reflection, the breathtaking beauty is omnipresent, you just have to make yourself present for it.
